Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Armin Nestares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Armin Nestares scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. In the 15th minute of the match Libra got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauricio Portillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Libra's Sigge Fürst got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Armin Nestares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 minutes, Badaz Bonk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libra and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Badaz Bonk hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute Libra were awarded a corner. Mauricio Portillo went to the cornerflag to take it. Sigge Fürst was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armin Nestares in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Libra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Adams to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Olsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Jens-Erik Odén fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Libra's protests and gave Jens-Erik Odén a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Libra getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jens-Erik Odén hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute of play forced Libra's goalkeeper Valdemar Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valdemar Olsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Libra booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Portillo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigge Fürst in the 60th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Camilo Gisbert in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Libra's Tony Adams. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita suffered a concussion after 67 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 70th minute, Jens-Erik Odén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Palacio in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valdemar Olsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Luz Palacio sped through Libra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdemar Olsson. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Armin Nestares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Armin Nestares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdemar Olsson. That made the score 1-3 in the 79 minute of play. Valdemar Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Libra made a substitution. Casper Viklund replaced Armin Nestares. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Libra's Valdemar Olsson did a great save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sigge Fürst came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Libra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigge Fürst couldn't finish the play. Valdemar Olsson made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Sigge Fürst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
