After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Waldemar Walkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Miami's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Walkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 73rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Inter Miami's Ludomil Banas tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Olaf Brytka made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Sebastian Villa sent off a good shot on target. Patryk Banaszak kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Inter Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Bambas to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Edmundo Espiga from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Olaf Brytka's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Wasyl Zahemski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter Miami fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
