Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lohitzun Reigosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Lohitzun Reigosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. A beautiful save bye Birra Bizarra's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play forced Birra Bizarra's goalkeeper Lohitzun Reigosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Poncio Zalaeta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lohitzun Reigosa came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lohitzun Reigosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Birra Bizarra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beltza Feyjo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Birra Bizarra's Lohitzun Reigosa got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poncio Zalaeta in the 66th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lohitzun Reigosa. That made the score 0-2 after 67 minutes of play. Lohitzun Reigosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lohitzun Reigosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luis Andino scored 0-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lohitzun Reigosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Poncio Zalaeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lohitzun Reigosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Marciano Aeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
