Armando Gazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 于阳朋's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Cesare Cardillo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cesare Cardillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldinho Messias went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Espírito Santo got free with Cesare Cardillo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesare Cardillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yenal Tanır in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Acatincăi in the 23rd minute of play forced Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesare Cardillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Arnulfo Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Espírito Santo got free with Cesare Cardillo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when 于阳朋 came free, but Armando Gazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Victorio Modestio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lechuguitas F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cesare Cardillo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Raimundo Espírito Santo sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lechuguitas F.C. made a substitution. Laureano Dimas replaced Leonardo Paz. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Cesare Cardillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 54th minute of play. Armando Gazza made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Florentino Nabar sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Alex Acatincăi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Cardillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Amor hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cesare Cardillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Yenal Tanır came free, but Cesare Cardillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juventus PTM made a substitution. Petre Mitică replaced Vidar Albäck. 75 minutes into the game, Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesare Cardillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldinho Messias in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesare Cardillo saved Lechuguitas F.C. from getting behind. Cesare Cardillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Viera in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Honcioiu in the 86th minute of play forced Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesare Cardillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Patrick Viera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Cardillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Honcioiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesare Cardillo. Lechuguitas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Honcioiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Cesare Cardillo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus PTM's Ferdinand Honcioiu. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Honcioiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. When Juventus PTM's Yenal Tanır in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Lechuguitas F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
