Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Julian Murillo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute Kian Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of the match. Peru were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after FC Ruscova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Helmuth Duckadam quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ciro Cortez could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes FC Ruscova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Emmanuel Reyes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Helmuth Duckadam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Cortez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. 38 minutes in the game Aurel Trifan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Umur Renan. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umur Renan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Cortez in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 55th minute Ciro Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kian Natanael in the 72nd minute of play. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurel Trifan got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Umur Renan. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 90 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmuth Duckadam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafael Gallo had several of the FC Ruscova's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Helmuth Duckadam as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Gustav Kvick got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umur Renan to maneuver through the defense. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
