Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leonard Gregersen made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Anderssen in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Dag Anderssen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Anderssen came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Kovlands IF's Hans Lilleeng. But to his dismay, Hans Lilleeng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Lilleeng, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Lilleeng in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Kovlands IF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Lilleeng in the 38th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Lilleeng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Lilleeng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Øren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Leon Jenssen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 52nd minute of the match Martin Minge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a Kovlands IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kovlands IF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Hans Lilleeng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 58th match minute, Kovlands IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Minge to maneuver through the defense. Kovlands IF's Hans Lilleeng got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Leon Jenssen sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Anderssen in the 68th minute of the match. If Leon Jenssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Jenssen struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovlands IF. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Lilleeng got free with Benito Sanz in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Dag Anderssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Lilleeng in the 90th minute. Kovlands IF played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
