Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andreas Schjelderup started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Yulian Kichukov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nordsjælland's supporters rose to their feet, but Yulian Kichukov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andreas Schjelderup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Sindre Walle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Sindre Walle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Hansen. Andreas Hansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Hansen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Andreas Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yulian Kichukov who took care of the corner kick. Yulian Kichukov made a great header on FC Nordsjælland's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Hansen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

FC Nordsjælland's Mads Hansen was substituted for Andreas Schjelderup. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Andreas Hansen in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Hansen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Andreas Hansen made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Hansen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 74th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Aage Thegler got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aage Thegler to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When FC Nordsjælland's Sindre Walle in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Mads Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Yulian Kichukov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nordsjælland's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Hansen came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Venezuela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Nordsjælland from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
