Michel van der Bij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ISPARTASPOR U21's Michel van der Bij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of play forced ISPARTASPOR U21's goalkeeper Michel van der Bij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Gelmiro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel van der Bij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Luca Zorita scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel van der Bij, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel van der Bij narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michel van der Bij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, ISPARTASPOR U21's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Bemabe's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Bemabe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Fermin Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when ISPARTASPOR U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. ISPARTASPOR U21's Michel van der Bij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 94th minute of play. Mexico played a much better game than ISPARTASPOR U21 and deserved their victory. The ISPARTASPOR U21 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
