The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Altay Bayındır was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play forced ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™'s goalkeeper Altay Bayındır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Yerel in the 19th minute of the match. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ali Erdem Çetintürk in the 25 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altay Bayındır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yasin Yerel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Altay Bayındır took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 43 minutes on the clock, Cebrail Akarslan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was Tom Roll who took care of the corner kick. 89 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Altay Bayındır. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Maxi Gambetta struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Appiah in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxi Gambetta in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Savaş Yekta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
