In the 10th minute Grigoriy Melnichenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when András Törőcsik elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers András Törőcsik in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. In the 18th minute András Törőcsik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, András Törőcsik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoriy Melnichenko in the 22nd minute of the match. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. Bayern München FC.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
