Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Joachim Forseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Saga TF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Giannis Tsovolas in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Saga TF's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iwo Gendolla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Forseth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Joachim Forseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Botnen in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Giannis Tsovolas made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Brian Laudrup however managed to control. Erik Cantona kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 64th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Saga TF were awarded a corner. Brian Laudrup went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Iwo Gendolla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of play. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Saga TF from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 77 minutes, Erik Cantona made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joachim Forseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru played a much better game than Saga TF and deserved their victory. The Saga TF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
