Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Simão de Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United FC's protests and gave Simão de Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Simão de Toledo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Martini having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Manfred Rudqvist put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Bruno Martini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfred Rudqvist in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manfred Rudqvist got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-0 in the right cross in the 20th match minute before Jonathan Ferrant had time to react. In the 23rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A hard shot 45 in the game by Manfred Rudqvist from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 47th minute, Freek Tamminga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manfred Rudqvist was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Glauco Saraiva in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. After 54 minutes of play, Manchester United FC's Joachim De Jonghe made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 63 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Mina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 63 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Manchester United FC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simão de Toledo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freek Tamminga, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Zajac. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão de Toledo in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Manfred Rudqvist notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Bruno Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Martini came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Glauco Saraiva made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Freek Tamminga immediately put the ball in play. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Joachim De Jonghe scored 8-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manchester United FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
