Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eckehard Deckert took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Odeweg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Herminio Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eckehard Deckert in the 23rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eckehard Deckert sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. 32 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herminio Iztal. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 35 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. In the 36th minute Conrad Furesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Odeweg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Herminio Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Herminio Iztal in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th match minute, Odeweg FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredy Brusberg to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 59th minute. Herminio Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Odeweg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Herminio Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredy Brusberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Iztal having to make a save. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Odeweg FSV's goalkeeper Herminio Iztal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Iztal. Odeweg FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Herminio Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrad Furesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 79th minute of play forced Odeweg FSV's goalkeeper Herminio Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Iztal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Odeweg FSV's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Iztal came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad Furesi in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eckehard Deckert got free with Dante Lacasa in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herminio Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
