Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Ziemniak in the 4th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wit Ziemniak from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 6th minute. Slawomir Pietrowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the game, Norbert Kieca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stasin SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Stasin SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Kieca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Wit Ziemniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wit Ziemniak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomir Dula who took care of the corner kick. Wit Ziemniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, Stasin SA's Radomir Dula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Stasin SA's Ksawery Mojsiewicz got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slawomir Pietrowski. Stasin SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 35th minute of play forced Stasin SA's goalkeeper Slawomir Pietrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slawomir Pietrowski came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Wit Ziemniak struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stasin SA. In the 43rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wit Ziemniak went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Ziemniak in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Wit Ziemniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stasin SA's Zbyszko Sokolski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Chicote, made in the 69th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Sokolski in the 71st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Zbyszko Sokolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
