Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Ambrosetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 28th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luiz Paulo Pereira made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 31stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Joaquin Gayoso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Yan do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Paulo Pereiras short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alberto Gisbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan do Valle having to interfere. Yan do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Paulo Pereira's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natã do Vale during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Natã do Vale. Yan do Valle made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo Pereira in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Ubatuba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiří Brázdil in the 76th minute. Yan do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Gisbert came free, but Yan do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Yan do Valle made a huge save. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Pereira in the 94th minute of the match. Viktor Ambrosetti succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. The Ubatuba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
