Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galapagos Islands FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Özgün Hatip made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Galapagos Islands FC's Özgün Hatip nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Mroczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Mroczynski couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Mroczynski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Özgün Hatip made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Anthon Karlsson in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Mroczynski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Galapagos Islands FC's Frankie Flambard got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match Niklas Möller shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anthon Karlsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 46 minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Özgün Hatip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galapagos Islands FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Jose Correa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anthon Karlsson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 55th minute, Özgün Hatip reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-4. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Mroczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galapagos Islands FC's Özgün Hatip got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthon Karlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Anthon Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Radomil Mroczynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Özgün Hatip who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radomil Mroczynski struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galapagos Islands FC. Özgün Hatip took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgün Hatip got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th match minute, Galapagos Islands FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Mroczynski to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Özgün Hatip reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-7. When the match was over Galapagos Islands FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
