Ernest Enciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Jan Apostel kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when The Wolf’s's Petru Vernescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ernest Enciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 13th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute. After 14 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Wolf’s's Ernest Enciu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Enciu having to interfere. Aristide Oprea kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petru Vernescu in the 23rd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Vasile Chitoran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when The Wolf’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Apostel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, The Wolf’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Ionescu to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Enciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasile Chitoran got free with Julio Vera in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernest Enciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Vernescu in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Jan Apostel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Enciu came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Ernest Enciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Enciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Vernescu in the 62nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernest Enciu could save by the left post. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, The Wolf’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Babalov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Zakrzewski in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of The Wolf’s booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernest Enciu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. It was a penalty for The Wolf’s! When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ernest Enciu. The supporters of Ecuador booed when The Wolf’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Apăvăloaie didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, The Wolf’s's goalkeeper Ernest Enciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ernest Enciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 96th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 97th minute. Ecuador played a much better game than The Wolf’s and deserved their victory. The The Wolf’s players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
