With an all-out effort, Junta De Los Rios CF's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mané Balcells, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led Junta De Los Rios CF's Berriotxoa Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Baudelio Echavarri came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Amarante Gibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mané Balcells fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Amuruza Lillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Amarante Gibert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Amarante Gibert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Amarante Gibert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amuruza Lillo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Junta De Los Rios CF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ferrando Astudillo hit a great ball. Junta De Los Rios CF's Celestino Marques was substituted for Baudelio Echavarri. Junta De Los Rios CF made a substitution. Ricardo Carballido replaced Fructuoso Olle. Amor De la Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amuruza Lillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Amuruza Lillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santino Seco in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Junta De Los Rios CF's goalkeeper Amuruza Lillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Ion Vadillos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Amuruza Lillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Marques in the 65th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amuruza Lillo having to make a save. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Amuruza Lillo made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Celestino Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Junta De Los Rios CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Amuruza Lillo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. But to his dismay, Kevin Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 76th minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Balcells, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Junta De Los Rios CF's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Amuruza Lillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Balcells in the 80th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amarante Gibert in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Junta De Los Rios CF defense, Ignacio Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amuruza Lillo. The Junta De Los Rios CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amuruza Lillo should have stopped the shot. After 91 minutes of play, Junta De Los Rios CF's Mané Balcells made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abram Secada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Amuruza Lillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 99 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amuruza Lillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4.
