Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 17th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Abubakar in the 21st minute of the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute. Mexico's Luca Rouco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tor Echegoyen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vincent Abubakar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Echegoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Abubakar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 38th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arni Urb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Abubakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Luca Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor Echegoyen. That made the score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tor Echegoyen. Tor Echegoyen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tor Echegoyen came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor Echegoyen. That made the score 1-5 in the 71 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Abubakar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Momentum FC were awarded a corner. Benedicto Eladio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Momentum FC's Benedicto Eladio to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. Tor Echegoyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Abubakar came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. The Momentum FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
