Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Balázs Sebes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes. But to his dismay, Balázs Sebes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 10 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. The Hoberg United fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute Balázs Sebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Louis Bullock got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Balázs Sebes scored 0-4 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Sebes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balázs Sebes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Cintya Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Balázs Sebes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Balázs Sebes made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 41 minutes into the game, Balázs Sebes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute Balázs Sebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Sebes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.
The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Danny Grønnow who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hoberg United's Danny Grønnow to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balázs Sebes in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cintya Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Cintya Palacios notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Balázs Sebes made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. Hoberg United made a substitution. Jimmi Imtiaz replaced Randy Bastard. Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 84th minute of the game. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cintya Palacios in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balázs Sebes went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-15 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Martins. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Tasis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-15. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Balázs Sebes scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 1-16. Hoberg United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
