German Evarado started the match with the kick off. Yuan Lei Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter George in the 8th minute of the match. Carter George's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuan Lei Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuan Lei Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute German Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Freestylers's goalkeeper Yuan Lei Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter George in the 26th minute of play forced Freestylers's goalkeeper Yuan Lei Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuan Lei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Musa Bardakçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freestylers's Yuan Lei Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Rohan Watson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yuan Lei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rohan Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Umut Uluşahin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freestylers and the Canada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Canada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Koby Wright made the kick off in the second half. If Luka Harris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Büssinger in the 63rd minute of play. Freestylers made a substitution. Leo Pietro replaced Matthias Büssinger. Freestylers were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Canada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Björn Lachenicht took the corner. Aytuğ Ergüden charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aytuğ Ergüden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aytuğ Ergüden hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Aytuğ Ergüden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuan Lei Jing made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Theo Burton sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Evarado in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jax Williamson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Pietro in the 73rd minute of the match. Yuan Lei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prince Anderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Freestylers's Mai Qian Guang got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Freestylers's goalkeeper Yuan Lei Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Andreas Arendt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Leo Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuan Lei Jing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prince Anderson went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute of the match Canada got a corner. Freestylers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 91st minute of play forced Freestylers's goalkeeper Yuan Lei Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuan Lei Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Burton in the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Freestylers's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Yuan Lei Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Canada's Theo Burton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yuan Lei Jing. Yuan Lei Jing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The Freestylers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canada were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
