Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Peru booed when Rapsodas Red Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Schwarzfischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorrin Briones went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 12th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ferenc Tököli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 16 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. In the 17th minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferenc Tököli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Ferenc Tököli made a huge save. Peru were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. In the 31stth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Julian Murillo sped through Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferenc Tököli. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The excitement rose when Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Joseph Schwarzfischer after 38 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Peru's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-2. Michael Callaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Emmanuel Reyes made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. Ferenc Tököli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 65th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco was substituted for Luís Paulo da Fonseca. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Peru. Eliseo Mina stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ferenc Tököli. 3-2. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Rafael Gallo put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ferenc Tököli. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
