With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Alström saved KAMILOS from getting behind. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Dejo in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Alström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in KAMILOS's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Alström came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wlodzimierz Dejos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Roland Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The KAMILOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Blicharz was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes KAMILOS got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Dejo. In the 60th minute, Konrad Lodowy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KAMILOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced KAMILOS's goalkeeper Roland Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Dejo in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Konrad Lodowy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAMILOS and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konrad Lodowy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match.
