Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Haroldo Bonifaco made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Junction City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Redha Hadj Aïssa to maneuver through the defense. In the 5thth minute Daniel Zorita beautifully dribbled past Junction City FC's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Mahieddine Djeballi pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. After a rather tough play, Junction City FC's Rachid Ali got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Bonifaco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Mahieddine Djeballi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Haroldo Bonifaco scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Junction City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mahieddine Djeballi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Bonifaco in the 25th minute of play. Junction City FC's Mahieddine Djeballi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Bonifaco in the 29th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 minutes Junction City FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Bonifaco in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rachid Ali hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mahieddine Djeballi. Mahieddine Djeballi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Redha Hadj Aïssa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Junction City FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mahieddine Djeballi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Mahieddine Djeballi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mahieddine Djeballi made a huge save. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Junction City FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Mahieddine Djeballi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Junction City FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Aggoune in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Junction City FC's Mahieddine Djeballi got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haroldo Bonifaco might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Bonifaco ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mahieddine Djeballi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
