Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ive De Meyer having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tuur Weygaerts came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ive De Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the FC Gullegem defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ive De Meyer. The FC Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ive De Meyer should have stopped the shot. Luca Zorita scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ive De Meyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafallas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Ive De Meyer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ive De Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ive De Meyer. The goal made the score 3-0. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cederique Dhondt to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer. Ive De Meyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Gaona scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ive De Meyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ive De Meyer came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Ive De Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamie Pannekoek's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamie Pannekoek helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Jamie Pannekoek got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to FC Gullegem getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hendrik Van Hoeij hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ive De Meyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After 83 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ive De Meyer was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ive De Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ive De Meyer should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
