Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mai Li Cheng got free with Julio Vera in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pahom Nikiforov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play forced True storY's goalkeeper Pahom Nikiforov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pahom Nikiforov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mai Li Cheng in the 10th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Mai Li Cheng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Mai Li Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Mai Li Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. True storY's Pahom Nikiforov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. Pahom Nikiforov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pahom Nikiforov having to interfere. Pahom Nikiforov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. Pahom Nikiforov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mai Li Cheng to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pahom Nikiforov firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mai Li Cheng hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pahom Nikiforov. True storY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. True storY's Pahom Nikiforov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save True storY from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, True storY's Veniamin Buksmann got a free kick in the 67th minute. Pahom Nikiforov made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mai Li Cheng in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play forced True storY's goalkeeper Pahom Nikiforov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Maadan Lăcătuș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. True storY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maadan Lăcătuș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pahom Nikiforov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 78th minute of the match. Emil Kostadinov scored 1-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind True storY's goalkeeper Pahom Nikiforov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pahom Nikiforov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pahom Nikiforov came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
