Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wiktor Strömqvist in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Per-Oskar Hedberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kayacan Müjdat, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anders Kielberg in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kayacan Müjdat in the 60th minute of the match. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Kayacan Müjdat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. After having played for 82 minutes, Wiktor Strömqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peace Home Street Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiktor Strömqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Anders Kielberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Strömqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
