In the 6th minute, Enrique Cassaretto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Zlatan Molina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enrique Cassaretto 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 14th minute, Yunus Mahşer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 19th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Forsyth having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot by Lucas Huidobro from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 41st minute CD Municipal were awarded a corner. Lucas Huidobro went to the cornerflag to take it. Lucas Huidobro made a great header on CD Municipal's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Enrique Cassaretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Cassaretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Cassaretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CD Municipal's Oalo Dean was substituted for Zlatan Molina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oalo Dean in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oalo Dean in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oalo Dean in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Oalo Dean notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Ryota Miyagi made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. CD Municipal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
