Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Abram Elano sent off a good shot on target. Abram Elano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 65th minute of the match ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnoldo Loco ran over to the corner to take the kick. 68 minutes into the match, Abram Elano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Elano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vito Bonito came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Bonito couldn't finish the play. Roberto Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Bonito in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Tino came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 94th minute of play forced ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's goalkeeper Carlos Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
