The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyo Menendez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peyo Menendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Inter Porteño's Alex Patt got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Kajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Holthuis in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, one of Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabat Balboa in the 65th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Kajder came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Inter Porteño's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pascual Carballar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 75th minute Roland Holthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Xabat Balboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Porteño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabat Balboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Xabat Balboa made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 94thth minute of the game Xabat Balboa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was Yao Ning Zhen who took care of the corner kick. Inter Porteño's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yao Ning Zhen in the 97th minute. At last the ball reached Yao Ning Zhen at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Colombia. 6-2.
