Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The corner led to Peru's Eliseo Mina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pucho's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Józef Mlynarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes Deportivo Pucho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 28th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Józef Mlynarczyk in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Romulo Brun hit a great ball. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Romulo Brun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Noboa. Peru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
