Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. The throw-in from Harald Josefsson in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Karl-Magnus Tidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Karl-Magnus Tidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Tidén in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Olejmeulen saved Sputchi FC from getting behind. Nicolas Olejmeulen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sputchi FC's Nicolas Olejmeulen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Engström came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sputchi FC's Nicolas Olejmeulen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Timmy Jönsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sputchi FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Forsberg in the 56th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Tidén went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Nicolas Olejmeulen in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Karl-Magnus Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sputchi FC's Nicolas Olejmeulen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sputchi FC from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Tidén in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Sputchi FC. Karl-Magnus Tidén stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 2-1. Nicolas Olejmeulen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sputchi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sputchi FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
