Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Fernandino started the match with the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Gilson Valadares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Julio Chicote sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduardo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lúcio Miranda having to make a save. After 16 played minutes Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Elazar. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Válter Machado who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Válter Machado to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Freixa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lúcio Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 28th minute. Décio Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes, Vivaldo Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vivaldo Barros hit a great ball. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ. In the 35th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Válter Machado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luís Quintal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Salgado came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Salgado in the 43rd minute of the match. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Décio Salgado was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Camilo Freixa managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Décio Salgado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Camilo Freixa threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Décio Salgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. The referee gave Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Válter Machado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. 0-2. Luís Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Luís Quintal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Freixa. That made the score 0-3 after 70 minutes of play. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Murillo Pitta replaced Décio Salgado. Luís Quintal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ. Juninho Payet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Murillo Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Pitta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Camilo Freixa 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Luís Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
