Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Paraguay's Jaime Pardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Damian Stonehouse notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Crouch's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Rex Wall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Alex Barone with Peter Crouch as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 24 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Crouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joel Groom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Egg Chasers FC's Peter Crouch in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 35th minute of play. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Peter Crouch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the game, Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Joel Groom kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fabien Barthez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Primitivo Escribano. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Stonehouse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Damian Stonehouse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Crouch in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. In the 55th minute Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner. Rex Wall went to the cornerflag to take it. When Hector Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Hector Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Stonehouse in the 57th minute of play. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Damian Stonehouse scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 0-5. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Peter Crouch put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. After 67 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Rex Wall. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Barthez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Crouch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 71st minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Damian Stonehouse took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthew Brookman's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 79th minute of play. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Damian Stonehouse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damian Stonehouse really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 91 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes of play Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes into the match, Damian Stonehouse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Stonehouse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9.
