With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Miliano in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced Cesano Boscone's goalkeeper Alto Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Adrian Miliano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Adrian Miliano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alto Muro. Alto Muro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alessio Tenaglia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Guillermo McDaniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Cesano Boscone players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Alto Muro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullah Oskan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Miliano came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
