Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. When Żaby Żnin's Krzysztof Wie in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ali Emir Akatay kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Wie in the 24th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Żaby Żnin's Krzysztof Ronaldinho got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Żaby Żnin booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Krzysztof Wie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rigoberto Mina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rigoberto Mina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Joshua Secada took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Nesto. Eugenio Nesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 44th match minute, Żaby Żnin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Cetnar to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Ronaldinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Ronaldinho came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Żaby Żnin's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Nesto came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Krzysztof Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Wie in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Ronaldinho in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Boruc Kojder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Żaby Żnin and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Żaby Żnin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Kojder to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Krzysztof Ronaldinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 85 minutes in the game Boruc Kojder did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lech Podwojski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Ronaldinho in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Andrzej Cetnar made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Żaby Żnin's Alfred Czerwinski was substituted for Krzysztof Ronaldinho.
