In the 20th minute of the match Gonzalo Firme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Zárate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Zárate's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Cempa in the 32nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Gollob having to interfere. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Margiris Nekrošius hit a great ball. Jurand Cempa scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaston Zárate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zacisze Częstochowa were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Zárate made a kick off. Damaso Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Zacisze Częstochowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Zacisze Częstochowa made a substitution. Akif Yetik replaced Cristo Verdu. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Jurand Cempa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jurand Cempa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurand Cempa got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Zárate in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akif Yetik in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Jurand Cempa sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akif Yetik, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A hard shot 83 in the game by Jurand Cempa from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jurand Cempa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 85th playminute. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Cempa.
