Gert Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Gert Nordkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Gert Nordkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Nordkvist got free with Julio Vera in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maciej Brzeszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwan Grunwalski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maciej Brzeszczak, passed just outside the right post. Matty Cash charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matty Cash the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Trzynastki Błeszno Cz-wa getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Pryla in the 94th minute of the match.
