Ted Meadowcroft charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ted Meadowcroft the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Maximiliano Escribano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 20th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hare Krishna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hare Krishna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 21st minute of the match. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Hare Krishna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Patrick Pitman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 28 minutes, Hare Rama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baby Snakes and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Austen Goodwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Baby Snakes's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hare Krishna came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Baby Snakes getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Leigh Unsworth hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Baby Snakes defense, Alberto Gisbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hare Krishna. The Baby Snakes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hare Krishna should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Baby Snakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Armitstead to maneuver through the defense. Baby Snakes's Hare Krishna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Carballal in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Hare Krishna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hare Krishna. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Munday in the 57th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Baby Snakes got a freekick which was hit by Austen Goodwick. 63 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goalkeeper Hare Krishna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. With a little luck, Baby Snakes's Hare Krishna got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hare Krishna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 69th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Gisbert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hare Krishna. That made the score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Baby Snakes's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hare Krishna came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Alberto Gisbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Gisbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hare Krishna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. Ryan Armitstead's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan Armitstead helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hare Krishna having to make a save. A collision led to Baby Snakes getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Govinda Jaya hit a great ball. Hare Krishna came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 93rd match minute, Baby Snakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Govinda Jaya to maneuver through the defense. Hare Krishna made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Hare Krishna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Patrick Pitman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
