When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Juan Almeida sped through Mohamed Algarchar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teo Tiniebra. If Juan Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Mohamed Algarchar got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Mino. Alejo Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yambay Vizcaino having to interfere. Roldan Peñalba scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Tiniebra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute of the game, Juan Almeida landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Fuerza Amarilla made a substitution. Jorge Rabanal replaced Juan Almeida. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rabanal in the 25th minute of play forced Mohamed Algarchar's goalkeeper Teo Tiniebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Guillelme's late challenge caught a Fuerza Amarilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Guillelme helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Mohamed Algarchar got a freekick which was hit by Julian Guillelme. After a rather tough play, Fuerza Amarilla's Xosepe Hilari got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jorge Rabanal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuerza Amarilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Rabanal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Tiniebra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 37 minutes, Alejo Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mohamed Algarchar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Perrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xosepe Hilari hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Teo Tiniebra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Cabada, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Efrain Ferrer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teo Tiniebra skillfully saved the ball. Reynaldo Arias lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 45 minutes into the game, one of Mohamed Algarchar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mohamed Algarchar:s Teo Tiniebra showed great skill when he stopped Roldan Peñalba:s penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Rabanal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Rabanal in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Tiniebra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Estrada Perdiz fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fuerza Amarilla's protests and gave Estrada Perdiz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fuerza Amarilla getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Estrada Perdiz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fuerza Amarilla's Xosepe Hilari got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Mohamed Algarchar's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rabanal came free, but Teo Tiniebra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Perrando struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Yambay Vizcaino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The supporters of Fuerza Amarilla booed when Mohamed Algarchar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Tiniebra was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Jorge Rabanal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Rabanal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Armando Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Fuerza Amarilla's Roldan Peñalba shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Teo Tiniebra but with some difficulty. Teo Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldan Peñalba in the 98th minute of play. Fuerza Amarilla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
