After having played for 11 minutes, Ulises Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacharí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Perfecto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Ernest Elkins fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacharí AFC's goalkeeper Abelardo Fonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Ulises Perfecto in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 25th minute, Isidoro Gaueko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keenan Goins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Isidoro Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keenan Goins having to interfere. Keenan Goins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Keenan Goins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Perfecto in the 40th minute of play. Isidoro Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernest Elkins was the one to do the kick off. Eulalio Gabino's late challenge caught a West Carthage FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Gabino helped the player get up and apologised. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by West Carthage FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cirilo Tabor was slow to take the kick. During this time Cacharí AFC's players had a chance to rest. Cirilo Tabor made a great header on Cacharí AFC's corner, it was just that West Carthage FC's Keenan Goins managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, West Carthage FC's Calvin Thornton got a free kick in the 66th minute. Isidoro Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keenan Goins having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Ulises Perfecto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacharí AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Carthage FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cacharí AFC's Ulises Perfecto got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cary Merrill in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Fonso saved Cacharí AFC from getting behind. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind West Carthage FC's goalkeeper Keenan Goins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84 played minutes West Carthage FC got a freekick which was hit by Cody Slater. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Isidoro Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacharí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keenan Goins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davis McGrath charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davis McGrath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes West Carthage FC got a freekick which was hit by Davis McGrath. Isidoro Gaueko struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Keenan Goins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacharí AFC. After 88 played minutes West Carthage FC got a freekick which was hit by Cody Slater. Isidoro Gaueko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Keenan Goins made a huge save. Abelardo Fonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davis McGrath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94thth minute of the game Ulises Perfecto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Carthage FC's Keenan Goins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmed Horn hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Cacharí AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
