The referee ignored Hereford United's protests and gave Rostam Rahmati a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hereford United's Rostam Rahmati got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Mehran Nouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rostam Rahmati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ got a freekick which was hit by Gil do Valle. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Nader Fazel sped through ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurício Veiga. Maurício Veiga came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Hereford United's Nader Fazel. But to his dismay, Nader Fazel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Rostam Rahmati received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurício Veiga came out and tried to block the shot, but Rostam Rahmati slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 52nd minute. Nader Fazel took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurício Veiga. Maurício Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The supporters of ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ booed when Hereford United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehran Nouri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Veiga made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nader Fazel sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, one of Hereford United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hereford United. Hereford United's Nader Fazel got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Nader Fazel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rostam Rahmati hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Shervin Azimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes, Luiz Fernando Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ and the Hereford United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amir Parsa Rahmati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Mehran Nouri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maurício Veiga, 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Nader Fazel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hereford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nader Fazel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 93 minutes, Babak Nateghi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hereford United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babak Nateghi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Hereford United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehran Nouri to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Farshid Aghazadeh got free with Maurício Veiga in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hereford United played a much better game than ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ and deserved their victory. The ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
