Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcio Carreira kicked off to start the match. FCSB CUENCA's Berenguer Tolosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After having played for 14 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Carreira in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Carlos Pujol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcio Carreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Marcio Carreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davide Giacomozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Berenguer Tolosa came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to FCSB CUENCA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Carlos Pujol hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Lucila Gimeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. João Francisco Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira. But to his dismay, Marcio Carreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 63rd minute Marcio Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Berenguer Tolosa managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 68 minutes into the game, Carlos Pujol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Berenguer Tolosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcio Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcio Carreira in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcio Carreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Berenguer Tolosa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Borys Jarocewicz, made in the 90th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Berenguer Tolosa in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berenguer Tolosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB CUENCA's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berenguer Tolosa came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
