Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carolo Eufemio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Bidari. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ladislao Osasun in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 8 minutes Angua FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Ladislao Osasun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ladislao Osasun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th minute, Carolo Eufemio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calixto Landoff in the 15th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 23rd minute Calixto Landoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Calixto Landoff came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Angua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calixto Landoff couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Eufemio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calixto Landoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Ladislao Osasun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Clodoveo Mercurio hit a great ball. Angua FC made a substitution. Miguel Florinio replaced Clodoveo Mercurio. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislao Osasun. Angua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Eufemio in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Angua FC made a substitution. Siro Mikeldi replaced Marco Laurendi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Eufemio in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Osasun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braulio Lopes in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Francisco Bidari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calixto Landoff was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
