Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 23rd minute of the match. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Javier Zanetti in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Matteo Suloaga made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Józef Wandzik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benet Amorebieta struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Drinkers Sanok. After having played for 40 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's attentive Julian Murillo managed to snatch the ball when Javier Zanetti made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Dark Drinkers Sanok's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benet Amorebieta to make the kick off. When Dark Drinkers Sanok's Benet Amorebieta in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dark Drinkers Sanok fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
