Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viorel Uncuţă kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in 11 Chivos Reales's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Raitin came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 11 Chivos Reales the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Uncuţă got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of 11 Chivos Reales booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, 11 Chivos Reales's Andres Tirso tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Faustino Mambru sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on 11 Chivos Reales's corner Andres Tirso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball.

53 minutes into the match, Viorel Uncuţă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viorel Uncuţă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 62nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a rather tough play, 11 Chivos Reales's Bryan Zberg got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Raitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 11 Chivos Reales's Andres Tirso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. Bryan Zberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
