Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amaury Hulsen made the kick off which started today's match. Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Daniel Zorita hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Kiliz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Kiliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Waldir Gaúcho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Waldir Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amaury Hulsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Francisco Shantala was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. In the 30th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Gaúcho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Amaury Hulsen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Amaury Hulsen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Gaúcho having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Waldir Gaúcho managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Valhalla Time's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waldir Gaúcho quite easily take care of the ball. Waldir Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Waldir Gaúcho made a huge save. In the 64th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Valhalla Time's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Best Tek might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Best Tek ran back to his position shaking his head. After 72 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Naike. After a rather tough play, Valhalla Time's Aca Larroque got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play forced Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Waldir Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute. After 82 minutes, Jimeno Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valhalla Time and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimeno Santo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Waldir Gaúcho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Waldir Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Valhalla Time were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
