Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 35 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Carel Demeulemeester received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Carel Demeulemeester slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. If Zachariasz Czaplicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Czaplicki hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Julian Chazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macos Graciani in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play forced Stawiszcze's goalkeeper Julian Chazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julian Chazon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Chazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julian Chazon could save by the left post. Julian Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Hernan Mannie fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stawiszcze's protests and gave Hernan Mannie a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stawiszcze getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hernan Mannie hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Stawiszcze's Zachariasz Czaplicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Sylwester Nikodemski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
