After 12 played minutes Forza Heppenbach got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Almqvist. 13 minutes into the match, Forza Heppenbach's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Hans-Joachim Amerhauser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stephan Appiah scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 30th minute of play forced Forza Heppenbach's goalkeeper Hans-Joachim Amerhauser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forza Heppenbach's Kristen Van Den Eijnde got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
