Reynaldo Cebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Legacy Youth Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaudencio Bermudez in the 23rd minute. The corner ended in Gaudencio Bermudez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. 27 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Cebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Rosio during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Legacy Youth Academy's Reynaldo Cebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-1 after 44 minutes of play. Reynaldo Cebo took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

In the 54th minute, Lautaro Puig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Marin during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Legacy Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Marin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Legacy Youth Academy's Erubiel Gotzon got a free kick in the 68th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Cebo in the 78th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Bermudez went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Erubiel Gotzon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. 91 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Lisandro Rameriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Cebo in the 92nd minute of play. Lisandro Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 94th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After 99 minutes of play, Legacy Youth Academy's Reynaldo Cebo made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there!
